Artist's Description
The Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado, are one of the most photographed locations in North America. My opportunity to photograph the Bells was during a one night stop in Aspen in early October. That afternoon the mountains weren’t visible due to extensive fog. The next morning, rain threatened to ruin my last chance to capture my version of the iconic photo until the clearing storm let through the morning light.

Wm Christiansen Photography is about the work and play of Bill and Deb Christiansen. Bill is a photographer, author, and mansplainer. Deb is a publisher, documenter, and rhetorical question asker. Bill was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and has lived in the Schoolcraft area since he married his beautiful wife Deb fifteen years ago.
