About William Christiansen
My medium is digital photography despite what your eyes may suggest. My intention is that my work will take you to a place you've never been before, a place you've been wanting to visit, or a place you already have fond memories of.
I seek out these potentially inspiring locals to capture a moment at just the right time, and in just the right light, but I am often surprised by the synchronistic events that coincide with the shot. Be it the bird appearing at just the right time off the Pictured Rocks or the Big Dipper showing up by the Totem Pole in Monument Valley.
I post-process the photo to convey my vision--what I saw and felt--when I captured the shot.
My wife joins me in my travels for photography and for art shows during the summer in Michigan. To see where we'll be next go to our Facebook page at wmchristiansenphotography. We are on Instagram as billanddebchristiansen.
