This shot was taken from the comfort of a bobbing whale tour boat in Stephens Passage near Juneau, Alaska. The Mendenhall Glacier is in the background. Apparently the sea lions believe the buoys were deployed to provide them with a place to soak up some rays on a sunny day. I believe they ring the bell when they need their drinks refreshed.
