When the sun just started to make an appearance, I noticed a girl in a wetsuit carrying her surfboard, watching the sunrise. Two of us, up before dawn to follow our respective passions:
Mine—creating art with my camera.
Hers—swimming on a board into a freezing cold ocean just so she can ride it back to shore and do it all over again.

Wm Christiansen Photography is about the work and play of Bill and Deb Christiansen. Bill is a photographer, author, and mansplainer. Deb is a publisher, documenter, and rhetorical question asker. Bill was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and has lived in the Schoolcraft area since he married his beautiful wife Deb fifteen years ago. He fully invested in his photography passion with the time (and money) that came with retirement after a forty-year career with The Upjohn Company and successor companies, including Pfizer.
