Description
Petoskey stones are fossilized coral and can be found rough in gravel pits or tumbled into oval shapes by Lake Michigan. The tumbled gray stones don't give up their classic Petoskey Stone look when dry, but add water and their beauty explodes. This batch was collected on the shore of Good Harbor Bay near Traverse City, Michigan.
