On the Cisco Branch Ontonagon River, Kakabika Falls is a series of rapids, cascades, chutes and waterfalls created as the river winds through the Ottawa Forest. It has an old woods feel and with many downed and decaying trees. The rocks are green and lightly orange with algae and lichens.

Bill was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and has lived in the Schoolcraft area since he married his beautiful wife Deb fifteen years ago. He fully invested in his photography passion with the time (and money) that came with retirement after a forty-year career with The Upjohn Company and successor companies, including Pfizer.
