When I arrived at this spot to photograph Balanced Rock in Arches National Park, near Moab Utah, I met Daniel, who was working on his painting of the rock formation. Daniel agreed to let me include him and his painting in my photo, but declined my offer to pose with my camera and tripod for his painting.
